Primary Use: Recording short-form video and audio sessions in the Momenta Fire studio
Purpose in Our Workflow:
OneStudio is a dedicated recording software we use for producing short-form video and audio content within the Momenta Fire official studio. It powers our in-house recording setup—capturing high-quality sessions that are later used for content marketing, thought leadership, product education, or social media.
This tool is designed to make professional-grade recording accessible and repeatable. Whether we’re recording founder commentary, explainer segments, or B2B thought leadership clips, OneStudio helps us keep production fast, consistent, and studio-quality without requiring external videographers or complicated post-processing.
We operate under a single license, and it’s primarily used on-site—meaning recordings are usually captured by an internal team meber with editing handled afterward via a Video Editor.
Long Form Podcast Recording
OneStudio is used to record long form podcast sessions with guests. The studio captures high quality audio as the primary output. Video is recorded through a separate channel and provided to a video editor for refinement and production.
Audio for Video Production
Clean audio recorded in OneStudio may be used to support video production, including voiceovers, podcast clips, or audio overlays. The focus is on capturing clear, professional sound that can be paired with separately produced video footage.
Distribution and Usage
Final usage and distribution of podcast and audio assets are determined based on recommendations from the Engagement Manager. In some cases, the Content Manager may be involved to help align assets with broader content or marketing initiatives.
Your Role With OneStudio:
- Scheduling & Session Support:
You may be asked to schedule studio time and prep scripts or talking points. - Post-Recording Asset Management:
After recording, you’ll often be responsible for retrieving the files, naming them appropriately, uploading them to the correct folder, and notifying the team or editor. - Content Coordination:
You might work with content strategists to make sure each recorded clip aligns with the messaging, script structure, or campaign it supports. Occasionally, you’ll help map out what content is needed for an upcoming studio session.
Quick Tips:
- File organization is essential—always name and file recordings clearly (e.g., clientname_linkedinclip_01.mov).
- Prep scripts or bullets before sessions to avoid long re-takes, disjointed commentary, or commentary that is not connected to broader marketing goals.
- Maintain a clean, consistent recording environment in the studio (camera framing, lighting, audio).
OneStudio enables us to bring high-quality, short-form content to market quickly, helping our clients and our firm stand out across channels. It’s a key part of our strategy to scale original media without requiring heavy external resources.
