Primary Use: Website building and on-page content editing

Purpose in Our Workflow:
Elementor Pro is a visual drag-and-drop website builder that Momenta Fires use in combination with WordPress to create and manage client websites. It allows us to build fast, responsive, professional-grade pages without custom coding. Every client site we build uses WordPress as the CMS and Elementor Pro as the front-end builder, giving us full control over layout, styling, and content flexibility.

Elementor quickly translates site wireframes and design direction into functional web pages. It reduces developer reliance, speeds up delivery, and makes it easier for content and marketing-focused team members to make updates directly in a visual environment.

How We Use It in Context:

  • Site Builds:
After we’ve finalized wireframes and copy, we build the actual site pages in Elementor. This includes everything from homepages and service pages to landing pages and contact forms.
  • Page Layouts:
We use Elementor to replicate structure from Figma or wireframe references. This includes setting column widths, padding, spacing, and responsive behavior for mobile/tablet.
  • Styling and Visual Consistency:
Fonts, colors, buttons, backgrounds, and section dividers are all managed through Elementor’s visual editor. We aim to build consistent styling across pages using global settings wherever possible.
  • Content Upload and Edits:
Engagement managers may be asked to add copy, replace images, or update buttons, testimonials, or client logos. All of this happens through Elementor’s front-end builder, and typically doesn’t require touching the back-end of WordPress.
  • Site Optimization and Adjustments:
For launch or during audits, you may need to remove spacing issues, or ensure pages match the approved layout. Elementor makes this accessible for non-developers.

Your Role With Elementor:

  • Editing and Updating Pages:
You’ll often be assigned to update content blocks, add sections to existing pages, or revise layouts to match client feedback. You’ll do this inside Elementor’s drag-and-drop interface.
  • Following Layout Standards:
It’s important to follow layout conventions (e.g., section spacing, headline styles, mobile breakpoints) so everything stays visually aligned across the site. You’ll usually be given examples or reference pages to match.
  • QA and Publishing Support:
You may be asked to preview pages across devices, double-check links and buttons, and flag visual issues before a page goes live.

Quick Notes:

  • Elementor Pro iis licensed separately and installed per site. A When a site moves from staging to production, the license must reinstalled.
  • Never edit core WordPress templates or plugins. Formatting work happens inside the Elementor visual editor only. Meta-tags, excerpts, featured images, and other structural/SEO activities may still occur inside the WordPress editor.
  • When updating live content, preview and confirm changes across desktop and mobile views before publishing.
  • If unsure whether a change should be made via Elementor Pro or WordPress (e.g., site settings, theme configurations), ask your lead or check the SOP.

Elementor Pro empowers us to deliver flexible, well-designed websites at speed and with consistency across all sites.
